Broker-Owner Griffin Gate Realty, Inc.
I was licensed to sell real estate in 1980 to partner with my father and brother to develop a resort property.
In 1985, I moved to Carmel, California where I was licensed to sell real estate and did so in the Monterey, Carmel, and Pebble Beach areas for the next 10 years.
In 1995, I returned to Lexington and resumed selling real estate in the Lexington and surrounding areas – specifically in the Griffin Gate subdivision.
Presently, I am a member of:
I am also a former Kiwanis Club member. My wife, Mary, is my business partner; I have 6 children and 10 grandchildren, and we love to travel. I’m an alumnus of Transylvania University, Lexington. We live on a small farm in Jessamine County, Kentucky.
I’m a life long resident of Lexington. My long association with the Griffin Gate Development began in 1976. I started working with W. B. Terry, the developer of this subdivision, first as his Administrative Assistant and later as his Executive Secretary.
At his urging, I obtained my real estate license from the Kentucky Real Estate Commission in July 1988. Then, I started working in the real estate sales division for W. B. Terry’s partner, Radnor Homes. Currently, I’m a member of:
When the Griffin Gate Subdivision was nearing its completion, I moved my license to Griffin Gate Realty. Today, some of the many services I provide include:
With my husband, Bill, we host a monthly Texas Hold‘em Tournament in the clubhouse and have a great time with our friends and neighbors. We enjoy all aspects of life in the Griffin Gate subdivision, but especially the clubhouse and fitness center.
I have a daughter who is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is currently pursuing a law degree while working as a paralegal.
I have been commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel since 2004.
My other hobbies include reading, traveling, and following the Wildcats. I especially like to take my out-of-town family and friends on tours of the Bluegrass Horse farms, the great wineries, and of course, the bourbon distillery to see how Kentucky Bourbon is made and what makes it so unique.

I’m a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Lexington in 1969. I’ve been a licensed REALTOR® since 1975.
I worked general real estate until I started on-site sales for Radnor Corporation at Griffin Gate in Lexington.
In 1989 – W. B. Terry, the developer of Griffin Gate Subdivision, hired me to Broker Griffin Gate Realty, which he set up to handle the resale transactions that were starting to occur. His son, Mike Terry, moved back to the area from California in 1995 and purchased Griffin Gate Realty in 2002.
